There are 250 Million users using facebook on mobile devices – getting facebook credits there is only a natural evolution of the product.

There is a project called “Project Spartan” which will be built on the HTML5 Platform that will enable it to run on iPhones and IPads. HTML5 is considered to be the coding language of the future, since it can be used on mobile devices as well.

This is all technical Chinese, the first mission of this vision is to buy virtual stuff on mobiles using facebook credits. Later on, I think it will also consolidate with facebook deals and places and allow buying physical goods.

After the Warner Bros started renting out movies in March this year, their UK counterpart: the BBC has started to rent out episodes of “Dr. Who” for facebook credits.

BBC Worldwide CEO John Smith says the move was triggered by demand from its Facebook fans!

So guys and gals – it looks like the facebook world is going to take over video renting as well… with FBC of course!

My friends and I are meeting in a cafe, we pick out table, I log on to FB from my mobile, It recognizes that I’m at the Cafe and prompts me the menu. I order drinks for everybody with my Facebook credits balance and 2 minutes later the drinks are on the table.

When do you think my dream will come true???

Facebook wants to increase the amount of users who have credits in their account.

The way they are going to do this is by rewarding people for watching branded videos.

To the user, it will be pretty simple, somewhere in apps or on the web you will have a button saying “Get Free Facebook Credits” and once you watch a video or 20 you will be accredited with FB Credits.

Here is how it would look:

The Technology Behind this is from a company called Sharethrough which have the branded content. The way it would work if you are a brand is this way. You would contact TrialPay which is the official payment processor of Facebook and you will set up the video. Then you would use distribution partners to reach millions of users. For example – the distribution partners you can already use with the above idea are the following networks:

EpicSocial, SocialVibe, and SupersonicAds. These companies can reach millions.

I have just learned that in December of last year Facebook has setup a new company in Florida called:

Facebook Payments Inc.

FB is also loo king for a Controller and a team who will be responsible for developing financial systems and payment operations.

Some say FB is creating an online payment company to rival PayPal, but somehow I doubt that.

FB Credits is a virtual currency going offline! An offline currency must be traded in exchange offices. This means one big thing:

It is imminent that FB Credits will serve as a currency for not only virtual but also physical goods.
